Who I am?

I’m Yoseany Parra, professional makeup artist and Ho’oponopono meditation guide.

Oceania Studios was created to merge beauty and balance — makeup as a bridge between the outer and the inner world.

My Vision

I live to serve others by creating unique and renewing experiences.

My goal goes beyond aesthetics — I seek to offer a space where each person can rediscover peace, confidence, and emotional balance.

Every challenge is a chance to grow and every makeup session, a journey of transformation.

Since 2015, my career has been built through dedication, practice, and continuous learning.

I’m a graduate of Colombia MakeUp School and Glow Makeup Academy in Medellín, Colombia, with specializations in blending and armored skin techniques under Ferzeta Academy.

Our Journey

From one brush to a studio full of dreams.

The Dream Begins

The name Oceanía came to me in a dream — long before I knew what it would become. I didn’t know if it would be a shoe store, a clothing brand, or something completely different. I just knew the name felt powerful, like it carried a purpose. Back then, I had no clear vision, only a deep intuition that one day this word would mean something big in my life. Years later, I realized Oceania wasn’t just a name — it was a part of me. It was hidden in my own name: Yoseany → Y-OCEANIA. From that moment, I understood that Oceania would always represent me, my essence, and my story.

My first Brushes

I started my journey in makeup with more passion than tools. I didn’t have the best products, and every look felt like a little disaster — but I never stopped practicing. After saving for months, I finally bought my first brush set. One day, one of them broke… and my grandpa, who always believed in my dreams, fixed it with industrial glue 😂 That same brush is still in my personal kit. It’s not just a tool — it’s a piece of my story, a memory of my grandpa Tulio, and a reminder that even the most fragile dreams can be repaired and shine again.

Putting Dreams on Hold

When I moved to Colombia, life took a different direction. I had to take on responsibilities and put my dreams aside — even store away my brushes. I couldn’t dedicate myself to makeup the way I wanted. I worked in different jobs and life got busier, but my passion for beauty never disappeared — it was simply waiting for the right moment.
